Associate Professor, Department of Psychology and Center for Neuroscience
I am a postdoc in the lab, and I am currently interested in using fMRI and electrocorticography to investigate the networks underlying human spatial memory.
My research focuses on what neural correlates are recruited during successful navigation, and how this changes across the lifespan. Specifically, I use virtual environments to test how participants use geometric and featural cues in their environments to successfully navigate toward a goal.
I am a graduate student in the Psychology program. Currently, I’m interested in better understanding the neural patterns associated with the organization of complex, conceptual knowledge and how this organization is influenced by hippocampal-dependent cognitive processes (e.g., rich contextual memory, relational processing, etc.).
I am a graduate student in the Neuroscience program. My main research interests involve using function magnetic resonance imaging and electrocorticography to characterize large-scale networks present during episodic memory processes.
I am a graduate student in the Psychology program. I am interested in the cognitive and neural bases of spatial representations for large-scale environments. My research combines innovative and immersive virtual reality (VR) technology with both behavioral and neurophysiological measures.
I am a graduate student in the Psychology program. I study spatial navigation and episodic memories using virtual reality.
I am a graduate student in the Psychology program. My current research focuses on the role of top-down cues and individual preferences in navigation.
Currently, I am visiting UC Davis and working with VR using HTC Vive and walkable treadmill as well as trying to establish live real world tracking int the Centre for neuroscience building. My focus is on neural oscillations related to spatial learning and navigation.
I am a junior specialist in the Boorman and Ekstrom labs. I am interested in the role of neural systems in cognitive tasks such as navigation and decision making. I am implementing virtual reality (VR) in navigation tasks as well as testing invasive and intraoperative patients at UC Davis Medical Center.
