Alana Muller

Psychology PhD Student

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Pacific Union College in 2015 where I also minored in Psychology. After working as the Chemistry Department’s hazardous materials and stockroom supervisor for one year at my undergrad institution, I pursued a Master’s degree in Psychology at California State University, San Bernardino. There, I studied episodic memory and metacognition under the supervision of Dr. Richard Addante using EEG. I completed my Master’s in 2019 and joined the Human Spatial Cognition Lab to work with Dr. Arne Ekstrom and study spatial navigation using virtual reality and mobile EEG on an omni-directional treadmill. In my free time, I enjoy bouldering, rollerblading, and playing volleyball and racketball.
