Lukáš Hejtmánek

Visiting Scholar

I am full time PhD student in the neurosciences program at the 3rd Medical Faculty, Charles University in Prague. I do most of the work at the Institute of Physiology, ASCR and National Institute of Mental Health, Czech Republic. My focus is on spatial representations, navigation and memory and its neural correlates. We work with scalp and intracranial EEG, fMRI, eyetracking and many more opulent devices of modern sciences.

Currently, I am visiting UC Davis and working with VR using HTC Vive and walkable treadmill as well as trying to establish live real world tracking int the Centre for neuroscience building. My focus is on neural oscillations related to spatial learning and navigation.
